Dual Enrollment Dates to Remember
Dual Enrollment is not available to high school graduates and students with a GED.
Fall 2023 Dual Dates:
Priority Maricopa Colleges Grant Deadline – August 25, 2023
Final Maricopa Colleges Grant Deadline - September 8, 2023
Dual Enrollment Registration Deadline - September 8, 2023
Payment Deadline - September 20, 2023
Tuition Assistance Program for Dual Enrollment students: www.maricopa.edu/azdetap
The Arizona Dual Enrollment Tuition Assistance Program (AZDETAP) is open to high school students participating in a qualifying dual enrollment course(s), and meet all of following criteria:
- 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th grade high school student

- 9th grade high school students with a GPA of 2.5 or higher on their high school transcript can move forward with submitting the application.
- Enrolled in a Dual Enrollment Qualifying Course
- Overall, unweighted high school GPA of 2.5 or greater as demonstrated by a high school transcript
- Demonstrate financial need (see financial guidelines)

- Meets Financial Guidelines as demonstrated by one of the following: Qualifying Letter for Free and Reduced Lunch or 2022 Tax Return Transcript.
In addition to the AZDETAP Application, those high school dual enrollment students who demonstrate lawful presence and meet AZDETAP eligibility, can apply for the combined Maricopa Grant and AZDETAP application.
