    First-Year Student Blazes New Trail for Aviation Program

    Hayden Bradley is the first first-year student in West-MEC history to pass the general written exam, which tests students on skills such as basic electricity, cleaning and corrosion control, fluid lines and fittings, and other core skills an aviation mechanic needs to know.

    Black students interested in career and technical education through Western Maricopa Education Center (West-MEC) will now be able to receive financial support from funds raised by former West-MEC Career Coach and current City of Buckeye Economic Development Business Manager Brian Wright.
