• HVAC-R

    The Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration 600-hour program prepare students for employment as entry-level service and maintenance technicians in the HVAC-R industry. The program covers electrical fundamentals, the refrigeration system, and diagnostics from a technician’s point of view. This provides the student with a better understanding of how a technician in the field will utilize the knowledge and skills set provided during the program.

    Upon completion of the program, students may test to obtain the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 608 certification.


    CAREER PATHWAYS

    Education attained through the HVAC-R program prepares students for positions in industry such as Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician and, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Installer

    The HVAC-R program is a Federal Student Aid eligible program. Students should complete their FAFSA with our Federal School Code: 042472. This program is also approved by the Arizona State Approving Agency for GI Bill® Education Benefits.
