Duo App is Required of Dual Enrollment Students and Instructors Starting May 18, 2026, and Onward
Please see information from Maricopa Community Colleges about the Duo App Setup Instructions for all Maricopa students and faculty to comply with recent two factor authentication method changes coming in May 2026.
Premise
To strengthen security, Maricopa is requiring only the Duo Mobile App to be used for two factor authentication.
Deadline
All students, faculty, and staff must use the Duo Mobile App starting May 18, 2026 and onward.
What does this mean for you?
If you are not using the Duo Mobile App to complete your two-factor authentication for Maricopa login, you must follow the steps in the attached Duo App Setup Instructions document before the May 18, 2026, deadline. This is for both students and instructors.

Fall 2026 Dual Enrollment Dates
Dual Enrollment is not available to high school graduates and students with a GED.
Students must clear all college debt before enrolling in Dual Enrollment
