2025 PROPOSITIONS OVERVIEW
PROP 403
West-MEC is requesting voter authorization for a $415 million bond to support the continued growth and improvement of career and technical education programs across the region. This bond will fund upcoming projects such as new training facilities, campus expansions, and upgraded technology and equipment to meet workforce demands. No increase in the tax rate is expected—if approved, it is projected that the rate will remain at $0.13 per $100 of assessed property value, primarily due to anticipated increases in assessed property values throughout the District and paying off outstanding bonds of the District.

PROP 406
West-MEC is seeking voter approval to sell, lease, or exchange certain district-owned properties and use the proceeds to invest in educational improvements. These funds could be used to purchase new school sites, build or upgrade school facilities—including technology and equipment, and support other approved capital expenses.
