Welding Technology
West-MEC's Adult Education Welding Technology program provides 900 clock-hours of competency-based education and training for a successful entry into the welding industry. This program covers essential welding techniques, such as SMAW (Stick Welding), GMAW (MIG Welding), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), GTAW (TIG Welding), and Oxy-fuel cutting. These skills are highly valued in various sectors like pipeline construction, shipyards, power plants, aerospace, and structural engineering.
Upon completing the program, completers may test* for industry-recognized welding certifications, enhancing their employability credentials across multiple fields.
