IT Security
The IT Security 600 hour program focuses on IT security training, the foundational principles of securing computer networks, and managing risk. Important topics covered are managing networks, ethical hacking defense, troubleshooting Linux OS, administering Microsoft, and mitigating security risks.
Upon completion of the program, students may test for several different certification exams including CompTIA A+, Linux +, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security +, and an MCSA exam.
CAREER PATHWAYS
Education attained through the IT Security program prepares students for positions in industry such as Help desk operator, support technician, IT support engineer, network support technician, network support engineer, and other entry-level roles. *

The IT Security program is a Federal Student Aid eligible program. Students should complete their FAFSA with our Federal School Code: 042472. This program is also approved by the Arizona State Approving Agency for GI Bill® Education Benefits.
